Welcome to Music
Music Education is an integral part of every child's education. Participating in music class promotes the development of focus, confidence, language skills, and academic achievement in other subject areas. Practicing music also builds teamwork, collaboration, communication skills, leadership skills, and creativity. Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.
